These black and white pictures were taken for Public Relations. The back of each of these has the words "Please credit Braniff International Exchange Park, Dallas" Training manuals usually had drawings, not photos. These photos also were 8x10s. Too expensive for training use.

The photos were to promote the new 1977 "ultra scheme" interior on the 727 and the conversion to all leather in both the 727 and 747. Even though N601BN maintained its original "solid color" scheme. The leather came from Argentina. Payment in lieu of cash from that country. That is why Braniff made everything from coasters to business card holders to seat covers in this Argentinian Leather.

These were given out in press kits to the media. Especially newspapers, which usually only prints B&W photos.
