Today I visited the Flight Museum at Dallas Love Field Airport. I met Braniff Captain Ken Larson who flew the 747 and Concorde. He is still employed as a volunteer at the museum. It was a pleasure to listen to him. He created a Braniff corner in the museum which contains airplane models an flight attendend uniforms. If you are in Dallas you need to go there.

I flew Braniff in '80 to Argentina and loved it. The service was great in coach , great airline.

I first flew on a Braniff when I was 8 yrs. old. My mother and I were flying to Germany in the summer of 1964.
We lived in the Oklahoma City area. The first leg of our trip was from OKC to Dallas. Needless to say, Braniff was the first plane I had ever been on. We made the same trip in 1969 and that was my first trip on a 727. It was a brand new plane and the flight originated from New York to OKC. Then in 1976 I enlisted in the U.S. Navy. I would fly alot and I always ended up on a Braniff to go home on. DFW seemed to be a second home to me and I used to really enjoy looking at all the different colored Braniffs. I kind of felt like Braniff was my airline and grew a real warmth for them because they always took me back home to OKC. I will always have fond memories for them. The crew on one flight let me come into the cockpit. They truly made you feel like family. I used to keep a list of all the airlines that I've flown on and how many times. Braniff was always #1 on the list......and still is!
