Awesome web page! I am a former BI flight attendant based in Panama with lots of good memories from those eleven years. Carlos, thanks for this beautiful opportunity.

My father, Daryle "Red" Lauffer spent 33 years of his life working for Braniff at New Orleans International (MSY). I can remember as a pre-teen going to work with my dad, meeting a lot of his friends like Paul Burks, Steve Greener, and Paul Otillio just to name a few. He would take me on a plane once in a while to meet the pilots, and given many a personnal tour of the cockpits. Much of my time would be standing on the observation deck, watching all the planes, (don't remember any jets back in 1963-66)and wanting to work for Braniff when I grew up.

My father passed away 4 years ago, and it was a short time after, that I first found a Braniff website. My wish is that he could have once again seen these colorful aircraft one more time. Thanks for bringing back the familiar BI symbol, and pictures of the best looking passenger aircraft to date that ever decorated the skies.

Love ya, Dad.
