The Front Cover: In October of 1976, my son Bob was one of 12 "Sons of Braniff" who presented US flags to Scout troops in Latin America - one of the lesser-publicized events of Braniff's bi-centennial celebration. He and Jim Mango from Miami visited a troop in Lima, Peru. The program interested Larry Upshaw enough for him to feature Bob in a story and allow us to grace the cover of the JAN/FEB 1977 B-Liner.
