Braniff South American Art Exhibit
BRANIFF SOUTH AMERICAN ART EXHIBIT
Monday November 10th, 2025 - Hosted by Mary McDermott Cook, the event showcased a special collection of South American art that Braniff strategically displayed in its South American hubs like Lima, Rio de Janeiro, and Buenos Aires, reflecting the airline's deep cultural integration into the continent. Attendees were also introduced to the massive preservation efforts of the Braniff Airways Foundation, which safeguards over 40,000 physical artifacts and 8 terabytes of digital archives, and is currently seeking a visionary partner to help protect and promote this unique “ready-to-wear history.” The night concluded with a toast, acknowledging the curators, the Chairman, and the former Braniff flight attendants for sharing their passion and memories.
