Braniff International 90th Anniversary Celebration

On June 20, 2018, Braniff International Airways will celebrate its 90th anniversary. Braniff Airways Foundation kicked off the celebration of Braniff's 90th year on June 21, 2017, the day after its 89th birthday with a daily Braniff history clip on its famed Braniff Flying Colors Facebook page. Throughout the following 18 months the Foundation will lead an extravaganza of celebratory events that includes the dedication of the Braniff Trail Historical Plaque Project.

The 90th Anniversary events for the fall of 2017 include the following:

A new Braniff Trail Historical Plaque will be placed at a historically significant Braniff destination every month leading up to the anniversary date in June 2018.

In October, a very special exhibit at the San Francisco Museum will feature the colorful advertising of Braniff International. The array of over 50 ads will be loaned to the museum from the Foundation's Braniff Flying Colors Collection.

The annual Braniff Retirement Club Christmas Party, held on the first Sunday in December, will be the official public kickoff of the Braniff Airways 90th Anniversary Celebration. An exciting afternoon of Braniff International will greet partygoers that will include unique displays and exhibits! The party will be held at Frontiers of Flight Museum in Dallas, Texas, from 11AM to 2PM.

Braniff 90th Anniversary events for 2018 will be announced before the end of 2017.
